Xisco Amer (Mallorca)

Xisco Amer was born in Inca, Mallorca. Rooted in the Mediterranean landscape and in his bond with the land, his work grows from direct contact with the materials that surround his everyday life.

His pieces seem like found fragments: forms that evoke memory, archaeology, territory and time. The work does not impose a closed meaning; the viewer completes the interpretation, as when contemplating a fragment of landscape.
